What do I say when commissioning you?
When commissioning me you should greet me and specify what you're contacting me about (i.e. "Hello i'm wondering if I could commission you")Specify what type of commission you are looking for next, i.e. "I am looking for a rendered fullbody" "with a background/with two (or more) characters/with chibi style/etc"Afterwards please make sure to provide me with reference photos of the character you want me to draw. Please make sure your references are readible, high quality with accurate colors to the character.Please send as many different angles of the character as possible (At minimum try to have a front and back reference of the character.)If you are wanting me to draw the character in a different outfit or with different features please show photo reference of the new features you would like me to draw. If you want me to draw a specific pose, please once again have photo reference of the pose you have in mind, however, this is not a required step, and if you want I could come up with something myself.I do not do well with long written descriptions due to mild dyslexia and aphantasia (the inability to see pictures in ones mind.) That being said, large written descriptions of a character are often extremely confusing to me and i will likely get many details of your character wrong. This is why photo reference is particularly important to me, so please when ordering a commission, present photo reference to me instead of a written description.

Pose Reference
Please make sure the pose is clear and readable.
+ any other details that would be important to show me (background references for example.)If you cannot provide what is requested please let me know upon ordering the commission. While it isn't a requirement to have all of this stuff laid out it's greatly greatly appreciated if possible.If your character does not have a proper art reference yet then you can create a moodboard of the characters features (skin color, hair style and hair color, eye color, height, weight, build, etc.) and send that to me instead. Please do not give me a written description of what your character looks like.

Additional Fees or Charges
Rush Fee
$25.00 - $100.00
If you would like your commission to be completed ahead of time above everyone else's commissions then you may buy a rush fee.A rush fee's price increases depending on the size or complexity of the commission. Buying a rush fee will put your commission at the top of the queue (underneath any upcoming deadline commissions, rush commissions take priority below those) thus skipping the line. Buying a rush fee does NOT mean that I will be working on your commission any specific day, just that it'll be next on my list to get done. If you would like your commission done on a specific date, you should consider buying a deadline fee.ⓘ In the event someone buys a rush fee but someone has already bought a rush fee before them, the person who bought a rush fee after the original client will have their commission placed below the first client in queue.If you'd like your commission done swiftly then this is something I would look into, personally!
Additional Characters
80% + Base Price
If you would like to add another (or more) character(s) to your commission this will be more labor for me and thus a fee will be applied. This fee only applies if both characters are within the same artwork (for example, two characters hugging) and not if you ordered two separate commissions of two separate characters.
Prop Fee
0% to 80% + Base Price
Props can also equate to more labor though it HIGHLY depends on the size and complexity of the prop. For example something small like a pencil or a pen will cost nothing extra, but something like an instrument like a cello, which is very complicated for me to draw.
Complexity Fee
Variable $$$
Some characters are very complex for me to draw, like characters with alot of small details, complicated outfits, armor, robots, etc which might be very labor intusive and might end up costing more. I will discuss this with the commissioner to see if you would like me to change things around such as an outfit to a more casual one to avoid this fee, otherwise, it will cost extra.The fee can be any ammount I decide on + the base price of the commission. The same equation as before. I don't typically measure this by percentage (I used to) instead by $.
Change Fee
Variable $$$
I'm pretty lenient when it comes to modifying my work when it comes to smaller things but whenever it comes to major changes I may feel inclined to charge for said change.When it comes to major changes on a commission I will be inclined to charge to fix them, especially last minute changes. There are various points where I ask if changes are needed and if I am given the clear for all of them then I will naturally assume that the commission will not need changes after. If you request changes (most particularly to the lineart or rendering) at the very end, I will likely charge you a fee to fix them.
Background Fee
Starting at $50.00
This price is variable but the starting rate is $50.00. The price of this may go up depending on how many props or details are within the scene, or if I have to draw complicated scenery like beach/water or nature for example.The price overall is determined by what I think is fair.
Deadline Fee
Variable, $25.00 - $90.00
I allow deadline commissions however they will cost a determinate price of around $25.00 to $90.00 depending on how close of a deadline it is, if I will need to work on the commission on my unavailable days, etc.The minimum time crunches I will allow depends on the complexity of the commission itself. I will let you know if I will be willing to accept it or not.The price of the deadline fee will depend on what I think personally is fair after considering the time frame.
Cancellation
Why might my commission be cancelled
I reserve the right to cancel a commission for any reason, this could be that I don't want to work with a client anymore, I'm uncomfortable with the material that i'm working on, something comes up in my life, etc. Whatever the reason may be I reserve the right to cancel a commission.In the event I must cancel a commission midway through the commission process, i.e. if the commission is already partially finished, if it is not already paid for I will request that person pay for that part of the work that I had done.
In the event I cancel a commission and it is paid for, if I have not completed the commission the person will be refunded the amount that I feel necessary if there is a portion of the commission not finished. I will likely not cancel a commission I have already started, but in the event I do, i'll call back on this section of my t.o.s.If a client decides THEY want to cancel a commission, they will not be refunded for any amount they paid, as I no longer accept refunds.
Hold Information
In the event a commission goes on hold...
Commissioners will have a maximum of 1 month of hold time available to them. After a month the commission will no longer be able to be placed on hold and must be completed, or cancelled.This is to ensure people do not abuse my hold times and have a commission on hold for several months at a time. This is also an inconvenience to me and makes it hard to run my business.In the event your commission is on hold and is taken off of hold, your position in queue will be reset and your commission will be placed at the bottom of my queue for that month (the month the commission was ordered), as I complete my queue on a month by-month basis.
If I'm unable to contact a client...
If I am unable to contact you for a few days (based on client error) I will likely just place you on hold myself or work around you until I can communicate with you again. Depending on how long i'm unable to reach you I will place you on hold.Even if you're only placed on hold for a few moments your place in queue is still reset.
If I'm unable to pay...
If you're unable to pay, I will place you on hold until you are able to pay for the commission.Please communicate effectively with me when you will be able to pay for the commission. This is grounds for blacklist if you do not, as it's extremely frustrating to not know WHEN i'm going to be paid for a commission that I discovered I am not going to be paid for immediately after getting the work done for the commission.
Work Days
What times do I work on commissions?
The days I typically work on commissions are Thursday or Friday.I am unavailable around 12:00 P.M. EST to 12 A.M. EST on days I do not work, and on days I work I am unavailable from 4:00 P.M. EST - 11:00 P.M. EST.I am always unavailable Saturdays unless I decide otherwise.Due to the fact I have a job outside of commission work it can take up to a week or more for each commission to be completed. It could also take longer depending on other factors. Keep this in mind, for each queue entry, it can take a week to clear that out; so if you’re 5th in my queue, it could take 5 weeks to get to your commission.If I for whatever reason express that I need a break I require that people respect my decision to do so. I am disabled, I suffer from bipolar disorder and chronic depression as well as chronic anxiety and I suffer with chronic pain every day, sometimes I am having bad days and I am unable to focus on anything much less work or a commission. Please understand I cannot control when I am struggling, and sometimes I need time off because of my disability or my mental conditions (due to hospitilizations or burnout), as I do struggle with alot.
Refund Information
I do not offer refunds for any reason.
At this time I feel that this is an appropriate action for me to take regarding my refund status on my commissions. Due to mistreatment on my behalf I do not feel entitled to offer refunds anymore.However, if I personally cancel your commission or deem myself unfit to complete the commission I will refund for the amount of work I have not completed.Other than that, I don't do refunds, thank you for understanding.

Post a commission to any one social media site
I will allow any commissioner to opt out of their commission being posted on a social media site. However, if they do not explicitly tell me they do not want their commission posted, then I will assume that I am granted permission to do so. Typically I DO ask before posting, but in the event I do not this rule is set in place to avoid conflict.Post a commission to the archives in my discord server
This is also something that can be opted out of as well, however if I am not told, once again, I will assume I am granted permission to do so.Post a commission as an example for future commissions
This can also be opted out of, but if not specified will be taken as permission.Post a commission on my Portfolio
This is something that can NOT be opted out of UNLESS the commission is NSFW or Paraphilic in nature. If the commission is Gore, or SFW, it will be posted in my public portfolio.
General Discomforts
I do not permit my artwork to be heavily referenced off of. Slight referencing is perfectly okay, but taking the entire concept of the piece is frowned upon by me.
Posting my work without credit is heavily frowned upon by me. Any designs or artwork I have made for you that is publicly or privately posted MUST BE CREDITED BACK TO ME. Some credit links are listed below that are acceptable to use:

Resell designs obtained from me...
you may NOT resell any designs obtained from me for higher than the original purchasing point UNLESS you have added additional assets/artwork to the character when selling.Significantly redesign adoptables obtained from me
Legally speaking even if the design looks nothing like the original, if it is still that specific design I will still be the copyright holder of the adoptable, however, feel free to redesign them or draw them differently as much as you want.Draw NSFW or commit any designs to NSFW

Communication Terms of Service
What are some grounds for being fired/blacklisted?
If you want to avoid being blacklisted or fired by me as a client please do not:
Be Rude
Calling me slurs, being disrespectful towards me or my work, being impatient and pushy for me to finish.(A gentle reminder is not pushy or impatient, I consider it pushy when someone asks me every day or of similar frequency about their commission, even if their tone is kind.)
If there are multiple instances of you being rude or making rude comments towards me, or being pushy and impatient, I will blacklist you. If you repeat this offense up to 10 times you will be reminded to cool it, and if you once again are rude to me on the 11th occassion, you will be blacklisted.
Scam Me
This goes without saying, do not scam me. That is very rude and you’ll be blacklisted!
You will be given a heads up that you are being blacklisted if I am able to reach out to you regarding it, and I will make this instance of scamming known publically and amongst my friends. You will not receive second chances.
Be Poor at Communication
on the opposite end of the “impatient” spectrum I also have people who occassionally completely and utterly fail to communicate with me. There has been a resurgence of these people lately, and I would like to remind everyone to please communicate me throughout the commission process.** I communicate with you efficiently and throughout the commission process so i expect the same in return.** To not do so is a waste of my time and a disrespect of my work and I will assume you either do not like my work and do not want to work with me, or you intended to scam me. Anything from ghosting to improper communication leading to many artistic errors is offensive to me.
Terminally poor communication will result in you being blacklisted.
If this is a repeating offense you will be reminded and asked to communicate more effectively. If we have more than 10 instances of poor communication (i.e., changing your mind after affirming something looks okay, failing to tell me important details resulting in me having to redraw the commission or large parts of it, not telling me exactly what you want etc, not providing adequate references) then I will remind you again if we have another instance of this then you will be blacklisted. The 11th instance of poor communication will result in you being blacklisted.
Cancel frequently
If you’re someone who orders a commission from me then cancels, then orders another one and cancels, then orders another one and cancels then this can be a blacklist offense. This is a waste of my time as well. Please respect my time as I respect yours. It is not my fault if you cannot budget correctly.
If you break this rule I will reach out to you and remind you after the 10th cancellation (this includes commissions ordered back to back, each seperate commission cancelled is counted as one even if they are ordered in bulk.) I will remind you of my cancellation terms. If you cancel on me an 11th time you will be blacklisted.
Steal my art or discredit my art
If you use my art to claim it as your own, trace, fail to credit me properly or use it to train AI tools then you are a THIEF. Stealing is absolutely not tolerated here!! You will be blacklisted for this offense.
If you break this rule I will reach out to you first, reminding you of my terms regarding credit. If you refuse to fix the error or let it repeat several times I will reach out to you letting you know you’ve been blacklisted.
Ghost Me
Similar to the poor communication, If you fail to communicate with me after I have requested you to do so repeatedly, and you stop messaging me - I will either consider this as disrespect or an attempt to scam me. As a result I will blacklist you.
If you break this rule as well I will cancel your commission where it stands, and I will request that I am paid for the rest of my work. If I am not paid 10 days after the cancellation date you will be blacklisted for scamming and ghosting.
Be A Bad Person
I can blacklist you at any time if I personally believe you are bad person. This includes, but not limited to: Being abusive towards others, being abusive towards me, having horrific political views or views in general, being racist, being ableist, being misogynistic or misandrist, being xenophobic, being a pedophile/zoophile/etc, being a groomer, being a manipulator, and so on.
If I find evidence of these behaviors I will blacklist you. I may make you aware of this, but sometimes I will not. It depends on the nature of the subject, or how I feel about it. This will be an automatic blacklist, with no exceptions or second chances.
